Project Community Pride is a non-profit mental health agency which has been serving local families since 1976. The program offers local families clinical services including individual and group therapy. Project Community Pride is staffed by Master's level therapists who are licensed to practice clinical social work in the State of New Jersey. All therapists have strong backgrounds in the field of mental health, particularly in working with children, adolescents and families.
Children between the ages of 5 and 18 may voluntarily seek therapy with their parents at Project Pride. Issues treated at our agency include anxiety, depression, family issues and adjustment disorders. Our therapeutic approach incorporates all aspects of the child's life, including family and school, in order to assess and treat the child in the most effective way. We provide a welcoming, private office space so families who use our services feel as comfortable as possible.
Project Community Pride collaborates with the particiapting school districts, which offers us the unique ability to conduct sessions with children in their schools. Our consistent presence in the local schools keeps our staff closely connected to the community we serve.
As a NJ 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Project Pride sustains istelf on donations, fundraising efforts, and municipal contributions. Families receive a high level of care at little or no cost to them.
